However, any patent application must include claims defining the invention. The patent illustrations are a very important part of the claims. In order to define what is and what is not protected, the illustrations must fully define the invention and are critical. Al.eF Photonics specializes in both Utility and Design Patent Illustrations and we accept inputs in any formats, ranging from hand sketches and photographs to videos and physical prototypes. However, fast turnaround times are possible only for 3D CAD model and vector files. Al.eF Photonics prefers 3D files with the following extensions: .SLDPRT, .SLDASM, .EPRT, .EASM, .EDRW, .IPT, .IAM, .3DS and .3DM. Preferred vector file extensions are: .PDF, .SLDDRW, .DWG, .DXF, .CDR, and .AI. Finally, we prefer the following raster file extensions: .PSD, .JPEG, .TIFF, .PNG, .GIF, .BMP.

Al.eF Photonics provides Print and File ready output documents in the format and template specified by our clients and as per instructions. The projects are processed as per United States Patent and Trademark Office, European Patent Office, Japan Patent Office, and any other countries’ standards, as per our client’s requirements.
